Making Process:

  • Take all the dry ingredients like(all-purpose flour, powdered sugar) one by one by using a measuring cup and sieve them and keep all of them in a mixing bowl.
  • Add a pinch of salt to add the right balance to your batter.
  • Take a bowl, add good quality matcha green tea powder, and ¼ cup of water. Mix it well for 2-3 minutes. Make sure that no lumps must be formed.
  • In a separate bowl take two cubes of unsalted butter and heat it for 1 minute 20 seconds in the microwave at 180° C.
  • Next, remove the bowl from the microwave and put it outside.
  • Add 1 cup of scraped white chocolate. Keep ¼cup of white chocolate aside for later use. It will be required for garnishing.
  • Heat the bowl for another 20 seconds.

Note- Don’t heat the white chocolate for more than 20 seconds. It may cause burning out the white chocolate. If needed remove it and again put the bowl in a microwave after some time for another 20 seconds. Also, don’t heat the white chocolate alone it might burn and get caramelised.

  • When the butter and white chocolate is melted,combine them well with the help of a spatula. After it is completely cool add the eggs.Whisk them all thoroughly.
  • Add vanilla essence and mix it again.
  • Now pour the melted white chocolate, wet ingredient mixture into the sieved dry ingredients that was kept beforehand.
  • Also, add liquid matcha green tea mixture into it. Make sure it is frothy and deep green in hue.
  • Lastly, add baking powder to the whole mixture, just two pinches will do.

Note- Always use baking powder in the last. Otherwise, the reactive power of baking powder might diminish.

  • Mix them well again with the help of a spatula. The batter texture will be thick asthat of a brownie.
  • Note- Don’t overmix it or else air bubbles might get trapped inside.

Baking Time:

  • Take a square cake mould. Place a butterpaper. Spray some oil/melted butter on the sidewalls of the mould.
  • Pour the creamy, thick batter into the pre-heated pan.
  • Speed up the process with the help of a spatula to make sure brownies gets cooked up with the same measure of thickness from all sides.
  • Bake them for 15-20 minutes at 180° C or 350° F.
  • After baking, let the sweet cube cool for a span of minimum 30 minutes, and then cut them evenly with the help of a knifein the shape of your wish.
  • And serve them warm after garnishing with a dash of maple syrup or roasted and caramelised nuts.
